It is really important to know that this is primarily a fire safe and not for serious burglary protection. As a fire safe, the specs are good. There are certainly safes that are better, but they will cost several times what this safe costs, too. For the average house fire, this safe offers enough protection, particularly if the safe is on an outer wall.This safe is lacking from a burglary protection standpoint.
